Design Thinking - Part 2
Tuesday, April 24th
There is no better teacher than experience, which is why this follow up to our virtual Design Thinking event (held in January) will be in person and hands on!
We will break into small groups and apply the design thinking approach to real life topics, with each group tackling a different challenge. Each group will also include an embedded Persona, a live stakeholder you can talk with to guide your ideas.
At the end of the night each team will walk through their case, giving us all exposure to the design thinking applied by each group to their challenge.
If you didn't attend session #1, you can watch this video to catch up. We'll also do a quick recap, so everyone will be able to engage in the activity.
About Design Thinking:
At work we are often handed a solution by management above us. At home we jump to execute solutions without truly exploring all the options.
Design Thinking teaches us to explore the problem/opportunity in detail, expose creative options, find the right one, prototype it, fail small and know when we're succeeding.
