Communicating the Right Message Through Effective Presentations

Core to a Business Analyst's (or any professional) tool kit, communication is an essential tool for obtaining buy-in from stakeholders and influencing an organization to take action. Learn tips on effective presentations and how to apply them in your organization.

We will present a series of skills and techniques to help you deliver extraordinary presentations that influence your audience.

This is important as you start to ask for decisions from upper level management based on your presentation.

In the time we have together we’ll discuss the techniques required to design and deliver a successful presentation.

You will learn about

  • The Pyramid principle that is a process for synthesizing facts and ideas so they lead to logical conclusions
  • The from to /think do matrix defines what you want your audience to think and do differently as a result of your presentation
  • PIP is an acronym for Purpose Importance and Preview that allows you to craft the introduction to your presentation
There will also be a raffle for books related to this topic. Join us for your chance to win!
