Part 2 - May 23rd
Join us in virtually for
Lakshmi Ramaseshan's Agile Transformation Case Study:
Lakshmi's two-year process generated, among other things:
  • Shared awareness of the challenges and strong instincts about moving forward.
  • New agile processes in place, even if some legs still wobbly.
  • Fresh attention from leadership with their hopes for better throughput and quality.
  • A development team seeing new roles appear and clearer accountability (BA, QA, PO, Technical Groomer etc.)

What then? What's next to take this transformation to the next level?

Part 2 of this series will offer a very inside look at the role of an outside consultant and an assessment tool he brought to the table for actually measuring the company's 'agile health'. The company was able to leverage the tool to solidify the gains made in part 1 and lay foundation to continue and accelerate their transformation.

Attendees will get an up-close look at the tool itself, the metrics and insight it generated, and more importantly, the growth plan it spawned which has catapulted the company towards solid agility anchored by measurable targets and shared commitment.

Lakshmi Ramaseshan, MCSD, PMP, CSP, works with companies and teams who need Agile coaching, Agile transformations and process improvement. With 20+ years in the software industry, her journey started as a developer on an agile team. She quickly realized good product development is all about having the right conversations, building happy teams, and being aligned with your customer.

She is passionate about growing people, fostering trust amongst the team members and building high performance teams. She also enjoys the challenge of helping teams adopt the right frameworks to achieve better business outcomes.

Lakshmi Ramaseshan's Agile Transformation Case Study:

Have you wondered what it would take to transform an organization to adopt Agile practices? Is an Agile Transformation is ever complete?

I'll share my story about leading a local company's journey to Agility.  We embarked on this journey while going through a 70% growth with our Product/IT Team(s). Challenges we faced included managing up & down the org chart, the natural resistance to change, and the learning curves of affected departments.

The change was incremental but there were wins large and small which got us excited & gave us hope. Two years into this Transformation we have a good foundational team, which respects process, understands our constraints, and is setup for success.
